Earlier I didn't have to work that hard for views and reads. Recently it felt like the only way to gain views and reads is to engage with other writers' articles while expecting them to return the favor. The same thing happens on social media groups where you exchange articles with each other. But ultimately there is a high chance of your MPP getting revoked if you keep doing that. So Medium wants us to keep earning less and continue just like that.
