Loyal engagement may happen due to two reasons.

1. A bond that builds with fellow writers while engaging with each other's content. You tend to start reading each other's content more often.

2. If you genuinely like reading somebody's content because it helps you learn, entertained, or any other reason.

The first one is a little risky I feel as it may make the algorithm feel that the person is performing reciprocation activity.
