The Devil Kid Who Would Not Come to Anyone Except His Momma
How can parents cope?
When I was a kid I would easily stay with my neighbors when my mother needed some me time. I was a very friendly kid who loved meeting new people, even when I was just a baby.
I wasn’t like those devil kids who would only cling to their mothers twenty-four hours a day.
My wife’s cousin sister has a devil kid. Yes, a devil kid. The reason behind calling him that is that he is so cute but he won’t come to anyone else except his mother.
So he would cling like a monkey on his mother, all the time. He would rarely even stay with his daddy or granny. If anyone else tried to hold him he would start crying.
Once I tried to hold him he started to kick, cry and slap. He would act as if he was trained by someone to act like that as if I was trying to kidnap him, as if I stink. My wife got the same reaction too.
What a devil baby. Once he is back with his mother he would pass cute smiles. As if trying to make fun of me, as if he is trying to say “Hey dude I won”.
