These days I feel that our pay cut is an experiment to see how many of us keep writing here and treating the platform like Facebook or a place where we find a community. I guess many will continue being here and writing just for fun. And Medium thinks that's a big win for their product. Hurray they have hooked us.

So even if some of us quit or start being less active while spending our precious time elsewhere they would still have more people coming into the platform.
